As The Compassionate Friends mark its 50th anniversary we are exited to have been given this commemorative garden which we are restoring to a place of natural beauty. Butterfly Meadow is situated behind St. Mary the Virgin church yard in Shenfield. It is the perfect destination for a walk to enjoy the wild flowers, butterflies and minibeasts that live in the meadow. It’s a dog friendly meadow where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of life.
