The Brave Nelson Pub is a local pub, specialising in good old fashioned traditions mixed together with all of todays modern requirements. We have a large garden with families welcome, a large childrens play area, outside BBQ (weather permitting). Inside we have a large range of lagers, ales, ciders plus chilled wine and champagne always available. Four telly's showing live sport, inc Premiership football and Horse racing. Add to that a pool table, dart board, fruit machine, FREE Wifi, roaring fire for the winter and a welcoming, friendly service from our great team, this really is the place to spend a few hours.

I met my daughter and her boyfriend there as the England game was on . Hence, the 5 stars for the atmosphere staff also spot on . But the mens toilets were not that good. The ceiling looked worse for wear. It was very obvious that the roof has been leaking for quite some time by that I mean at least a year or more wouldn't like to know from the mens toilets what the ladies was like.
Stopped a catch up and drink. Friendly pub. Homely atmosphere. Small but with a big outdoor garden area. Plenty of drinks on tap. Clean facilities. Ample parking. Children's play area at the rear. Overall it's a nice pub if local or passing. Can't comment on if they sell food or the quality.

Didn't have the food but it looked lovely, great atmosphere good selection of beers and wine, great garden and a kids area, really like this pub and it's fantastic in the summer and the bar in the garden is open, staff are very friendly as well
Great if you have young children. The play area is very good. Food, well it was OK. But that is not a good reason for going.
