Steve and his company 2-4C were the worst architect I have used.They claim to be experts in architectural services, but provided me with multiple planning drawings that were refused by the council due to their lack of inspirational and poor sympathetic approach to design features.Steve was rude, hanging up the phone on us when coming to the end of the project, and refused to discuss reasons as to why he had decided his costs should increase, stating he "believed his time was worth it", and threatening to take us to court had we not paid his increased charge.His company is extremely understaffed, often relying on temporary assistants to answer the phone (who often don't even pronounce the name of the company correctly as they are so poorly trained), who inevitably do not pass the message on or relay incorrect messages.All in all we have had to pay for architectural design that was produced my myself and my wife to finally obtain approval from the council, and we wish we had just done the plans ourselves.I strongly suggest you avoid this company, they are rip off merchants who do not produce acceptable work, and then threaten you with court when they increase their charge and you question the costs.
