Kieron and Hayley helped us to meticulously plan and design our ‘dream home’. They listened carefully to what we wanted and helped to guide us through the whole design process; tweaking and adding things that would suit our needs. We originally considered adding an extension to future proof our existing home, but, it soon became apparent that it would be more cost effective and beneficial to knock it down and rebuild. This was not an easy decision but with the help of Studio 40, our minds were put at ease. We faced material cost increases following Brexit and Covid, but Kieron gave us options, suggestions and alternatives to help us reduce costs at the design stage. I secured the help of Studio 40 when I downsized to my very tired, 70's home and wanted to make it truly my own. I had decided to get rid of the leaky garage but without the advice and vision of Kieron I would not have the bright, light space with exposed brickwork and stunning, vaulted ceiling with roof lantern that I have now. Throughout the whole build and renovation Studio 40 were there to offer guidance and support, be it with managing contractors or sourcing affordable materials. Particularly as my build took place during the first lockdown of Covid and materials were becoming extremely hard to find and costs were beginning to rise.
